Founded in 2004 by Aaron Foreman, Impact’s mission is to prepare the “whole athlete” for life. Impact has put over 275 student athletes in college on athletic scholarships, academic scholarships and financial aide. This goal is being met by a number of ongoing resources provided to players and parents to prepare them for their next step scholastically and athletically. Impact continues to hold sports specific showcases, SAT/ACT workshops, sports specific training and financial aid workshops for parents.
Included are community service projects and our annual college tour. In 2009 Impact became a partner organization with the Power Jam Music Alliance (501C-3) which affords us the ability to further secure future resources.
In 2007 Impact Sports and Academic Services fielded a 14U AAU Football team that ranked # 3 in the nation in it’s inaugural season.
Our partnership with the NFL has allowed us to hold HSPD and JPD football camps in the Southern MD/DC Metropolitan Area. Most recently we have held the camp at the Cheltenham Youth Detention Facility. These camps allow middle/high school students to learn fundamental football skills necessary to be an excellent student athlete.
Belief and support is the key.
We realize the boundless life skills athletics can teach young men and women such as teamwork, character, discipline, self- esteem, pride, perseverance and responsibility.
Our desire is to build a sports and academics program that will continue to deposit in the lives of our student athletes and community.
